After I have defeated him, am I supposed to get anything from
it? It still says that I need to return to Ethernia but when I
return to the castle, I am told that the King is unavailable.
Congrats! You have reached the end of the current story line. (There is currently no grand Huzzah!). More will be added later and I'm sure to access it we will all have to go visit the castle.
Nothing much to do after Vorpar until the next update. ^^;

Ah, thank you! Would have just looked for that myself, but the device
I am using makes it a bit difficult.

It's cool, I actually have a habit of finding others' answers to questions than answering myself, because other people put them in better words than I can. xD;
