So I have several level 60 pets that I use for missions and fighting all the time. I looked at their exp bar and noticed that instead of the number stopped at the cap as I expected, there's a very large amount of excess exp. Will that exp be applied towards levels when the next area is released and the cap is raised, or will it be lost?

As far as I've played this game, nope!
It's going to reset back to zero! Just the exp though, not the lvl! :3

That's what I was expecting. I just saw one of my pets with over 2million exp and I was like @>@;

It'll be cumulated somewhere so if you go for the pet with the most
EXP, that exp still counts, but yeah, apart from that it go back to 0%
when they un-cap until another cap~ XD
