Lunnec (Health) | Erebus (Magic) | Cynder (Strength)

I seem to struggle with certain battles, especially ones
that you come across in Dungeon of the Forsaken.
It also doesn't take much for me to get knocked out
in the newest areas.

Is it solely because they are difficult (and supposed
to be as such) or do my stats need altering?

I think you know how to build the stats of a team, but just a reminder, your pets should only have either strength OR intelligence added with stat points. Also, make sure the proficiency tree you're using matches the physical/intelligence based attack of your pet.

Your two fighters seem ok. Though if you can, try to get them better equipment. Try not to use equipment that has all four stats evenly distributed. Find one with higher strength/intelligence, and higher agility/dexterity. Try not to use equipment with both higher stats in strength and intelligence, since it'll mean some of the stat bonus would be wasted.

I think your health pet definitely need better equipment. And I can't really tell if it's meant to be more of a physical or magical attack. Decide on either physical or magical, then find equipment with the higher stat in the respective stat (so either strength or intelligence, whichever you choose) and agility. Agility is good for the first pet since it'll receive the most damage, and agility helps increase avoidance chance.
Also, it seems like you're going for a full health pet. So I can't say whether it's a good setup, since I use a half health-half agility set up for my tank. I've heard of people using health based pets, but i'm not too sure whether just high health is good enough to sustain a lot of damage.

On a separate note, when I had trouble fighting in an area, I used to go back to a lower area to fight and train my pets till I'm slightly over the average level for the new area, then continue.

Hope all these helps. =)

Thanks for all of your advice. Their equipment is probably
less than satisfactory because I only use what I pick up.
If I want to find something more focused, I should
probably look into buying some.

My first pet, the tank, isn't meant to have any attack
power at all. I will definitely try halving half health
and half agility.

Unfortunately, as far as training goes, no can do for my
lovelies seeing as they are at max level

So, yes, I definitely heed your advice. I will strive for
better equipment with stats solely directed at whatever
the pet is made for.
