Based off an awesome idea by Kyoki( I think that's how you spell her username) , I have decided to hold a STORY contest!

PRIZES:
The prizes get better every round, and consist of pets, gold, essences, and other shinies! -*v*-

Rules:
1. You can not enter after the first round.
2. Everyone that enters WILL receive at least one prize. Please do not complain about your prize, but if you would like to exchange it for another prize of the same value, message me in private.
3. It is your choice to keep playing. If you really want to, you can drop out of this contest, but please let me know so that I can identify what will happen in the future of this story.
4. Please ping me when you enter and include the word shiny so I know you read da rules! :)

So, I might sound a bit mean after the rules, but trust me, this is going to be awesome!

Here's your scenario:


You are riding your bike home from your job at the ice cream store. High above you, you notice something out of the corner of your eye. It appears to be very . . . Well, shiny. You look up the sky, away from the sidewalk, trying to identify the gleaming fleck, whatever that was. Not looking at the sidewalk, you coast right into a tree. After examining your scratches, you look at your bicycle. Completely totaled. Great, you think. That's the third time this month! You reach into your sweatshirt pocket for your lucky button, despite the bike already is completely destroyed. As your fingers feel around, a feeling of dread overcomes you. The button is gone. As you frantically search the ground, something shiny catches your eye. The button?

What do you want to do?
1: Run to the shiny object and stuff it in your pocket
2: Stop and think: do you really want to leave your bike for possibly just a lucky button?
3: Ignore the shiny thingie
