Alright guys, so I just discovered the "blur" tool on firealpaca and edited the German Shepherd design. Does this change any of your opinions of it? And if so, for good or bad?

I'd be fine with either, though I personally do prefer the unblurred version. Your original coloring gave it a really nice kind of rugged fur tone that compliments German Shepherd's.

What do you think of this one? I tried to combine the rough brush strokes with the blur tool so it's not quite as smooth and the fully blurred one, but not as rough as the totally non-blurred one.

Yes, the third one is nice, still retains some of the lovely texture :D
