So I decided to battle and all of my pets were at 100% health. The first thing I encounter is an army of undead. I think "okay, I've taken these down before, no problem!" but then I find out that there are OVER 30 undead and that there are, like 5 3 stars and 3 four stars... that I know of! It pwned me!!! That battle was NOT cool....

That encounter is very challenging; probably the most challenging up to that point in the game.
But now you know what to expect, so you can prepare your pets and stock up some consumables for the next attempt.

Oh, the things that come out of my mouth when I have to battle undead armies. xD;; But it feels SO awesome when you finally beat them. ;3

There are strategies to make army/arena instances easier. xD
Main foolproof strategy? Don't kill the 1-stars when you see them.

Yep, that's what I do, too. Ignore the 1-stars and kill the big guys first. Then I kill the 1-stars last. :3

I think just faced that same fight yesterday XD I was doing fine with my two pets, until my qitari's fireball killed two creatures and once and two arch *mages took their places. =_= kinda died at that point.
Finally bought third fight slot, and am training up my new member to be valuable in that stupid fight. And must remember, attacks that hit multiple creatures are not necessarily helpful in these battles. >.>;

Took FOREVER but I FINALLY beat the army! There was 33 undead in it!!! It took A LOT of elixirs!!! O.O

Same!! Took me at least 20-30 elixers before I beat them T.T Good thing I leveled them up in the dungeon before I fight them *fewf* Also, having 3 pet slots are really useful! They make it so that you don't need to use as much elixers in fights and add to the fighting power of your team
