I am completely confused on this. (Only been playing for the past..week? I dunno, I already feel like I practically live here.) Anyway, I got this genetic philter thingy and want to use it on one of my pets. Help?

Genetic mutator? Or a philter?
You can go to a pet's profile page and use a mutator on them there only if they're a tamed pet (not bred or generated).
You can only use philters (Lesser Philter of Vigor, Prismatic Philter, etc) on an eggling when it hatches.
