I used a Genetic Mutator, I see a little potion on the pet's profile, but no new visible or carried trait?

Is it possible that if it's carried that it just doesn't update until you get it genetically tested?

I'm really disappointed because I have no idea what they have. The pet ID is 965950

Ok, I sucked it up and bought a Genetic Tester kit from the DS, and I answered my own question. Now I never have to worry about it.
