Okay so I just RANDOMLY came up with this idea that there are little toy looking creatures called 'Mini Pets' which we can put on our pet profiles.
But we would only be able to have a limit of how many pets can have a mini pet at a time
So I.E
only 5 pets at one time in any of your stables can have a mini pet
I also thought it could be good because you can have 'mini pet' battles with other users and level up you mini pets to a small level (So max level might be 50 or something )
And that some mini pets are quick to level up but are weaker or mini pets that are slower to level up but are stronger!
Just a random idea X3 For cute little companions for our cute companions and as a sort of 'mini game' to have a kind of battle with online users!

Nah, I remember how it was on Neopets with petpets. I haven't been on neo in years but something tells me the system hasn't changed much. The battle system for petpets felt like pulling teeth and even though some were completely and utterly adorable, they just weren't worth making an effort for. I got out before the whole 'petpetpet' thing started so I can't comment on that but it just sounds like a mess.
Aywas' fauna, also a 'mini pets for your pets' thing, feels similar to that. The battle system is automatic and you get results right away, which is a lot better of a system for them tbh but there isn't really a point to it nor is it really fun.
I feel like, while the idea is cute, looking at these two as examples, having a 'mini pet' system on Sylestia would just be more of the same. If implemented though, having a limit of the amount of minis you can have wouldn't be adding to the experience. That really only makes sense when the number of normal pets you can have is low.
I don't know, I'm against the idea in general. Nearly every petsite I'm active on has this feature and it grows old fast. It'll probably grow old fast here too.

I have to agree with Litwick here. It feels very overdone in the petsite category and the real reason I love Sylestia so much is that it isn't just more of the same. To add on to the list Litwick had, there are also 'mini-pet' type things on Flight Rising and Felisfire. There are even 'pet battles' on World of Warcraft these days. Now, mind you, mini pets can be fun, but if they were to be implemented here, it would have to be something really new and out-of-the-box to make me want to engage with them, not just a collection to complete or something like another arena area.

What has been said above. I agree.
If having normal pets isn't enough (on TOP of having your avatar and forum stuff, as forms of involvement), that's a lot of time on your hands.

I agree with the comments here.
I don't see a point in having another group of creatures to worry about when I've only just begun to manage my real pets, the Sylesties. There's so much to do with them already, why add something that I see would fail to compliment them in any way. Plus, I don't like thinking that my battle monsters are raising pets like humans would, when they are pets. They are my monsters, I raise them, they fight for me, and we are happy. It's great.

I just wrote down a random idea without really think much (like I usually do, I need to think more!)
