Hi! Some more questions from this poor lost soul

1) How do colours work when breeding? Do the parents' colours effect the offspring's colours, and if so how is that determined? Is there a chart I can refer to?

2) Does this game have an incest mechanic? If so how does it work? (For instance in Flight Rising pets can't breed if they share so much as a second aunt thrice removed but in Pokemon a parent can mate with it's child with literally no consequences.)

3) Can someone explain how genes and mutations work in very small words and simple terms? I have a very hard time reading technical writing so all the guides I've looked at just kind of went in one ear and the the other, so to speak.

2) the only things not allowed are parent-to-child, or cousin-to-cousin (as in, immediate cousins, related by at least one parent).

Otherwise, go nuts (aunt-unrelated nephew, grandfather-to-grandchild, etc are allowed)

1) Yup. Have you aver seen a color gradient where there is a different color on each end and it gradually changes from one to the other? From what I can tell, an offspring's color can be anywhere on a gradient with the parent's colors at either end; this is done for each color slot on a pet.

2) Parent's and siblings (half or full) cannot breed. So if one is the parent or both share a parent, no babies. However, you can breed a pet to it's aunt, grandparent, etc. Also, parent-child breedings don't work in pokemon, though siblings do. (This may have changed in X and Y, but I haven't played those yet)
