Howdy! So I've been on this site for 3 days now, I reckon. I have a few questions:

1. What's the quickest way to get gold aside from farming bandits? :s I seem to be dying a lot and thus I need to revive my pets a lot.

2. Is it possible to find rare pets outside of dynamic events? And if so, can they appear ANYWHERE or do they appear only in, say, level 25+ zones or something?

3. What's the easiest spec for making a pet a tank? xD;

1.) My personal opinion, the easiest way to make gold is to get to the level cap. Gold is incredibly easy to get at level 60. There's also a guide right here that you can check out.

2.) Yes~ it is zone dependent. Rare pets in the first and second zone differ from those in the third zone though, as the first and second still use the old system rarity system.
Old: common=2 genome points, rare=3 genome points
New: Common= 1 genome point, rare=2 genome points, epic= 4 genome points, legendary=6 genome points, mythical=8 genome points.

3.) I've always used Earth myself, but that doesn't particularly mean it's the best. I'd try different things and see what works best for you, so long as you're putting points into agility and health, any should be fine.

id say ice is ok for the earlier dungeons and. earth after u can use ur second skill, just saying, I didn't used tanks until I started getting wacked in 2nd dungeon
