Hi, I'm Sariku Nezume and I just joined a few days ago. The pets and avatars are awesome and the tutorial is extremely helpful! I understand the basics of pet care, breeding and adventuring pretty well, but I have a few questions about some of the other features.

When will my starter Sylesti and my tutorial catch become adults?
Where can I find out what certain items and Sylesti are worth?
Is there an option remove my avatar's shoes?
Why do I keep getting a bot test pop up when I play Jinxie's Jamboree and nurture a batch of random egglings/hatchlings?

the only one I actually know the answer to for SURE is the bot popup! That's there to make sure your'e not a bot ;) or you know.. to make sure you're not a zombie (that's my belief I'm SURE that's what it is! God knows it asks me so often I sometimes worry I MIGHT be!)


Also the prices of things are fluid and subject to change! It goes mostly on the basis of what's available and what's for sale normally. I'm not sure how old your starter has to be, but a NORMAL sylestie is an adult at ABOUT 27 days ( it goes on profile views which can add maturity and cut down some days) or magical pies (which will add 6 days of MATURITY but not 6 days of age!) Maturity needs to hit I believe 651 (? correct me someone if I'm wrong?) but that isn't always based on days alive. (i.e. if you feed him a magical pie, he will gain 6 days worth, but will still be 11 days old for example he'll just have the maturity count of a 17 day old pet)

and I don't think you can remove shoes >.>

-> Your starter and tutorial catch will hit adulthood at 18 days of age.
-> You can't remove your shoes, unfortunately, but you can equip an outfit that doesn't have shoes drawn in and will be barefoot.
-> To find values, check broker history and forum threads to see what things are going for at a given point. Usually newer species and newer traits are more valuable, as well as things that are specific colour schemes. (Called 'Tagged' or 'Themed' pets.)

Bot test hits everyone all the time, don't worry about it. ;)

How can I tell how much maturity my Sylestie has towards the next stage? I know the egglings have a progress bar instead of a hunger bar, but I can't find anything on the hatchling or adolescent profile pages.

Magical pies can be found in the diamond shop for 100 diamonds or sometimes for sale on the trade broker by other players.

You can check the maturity of your pets by right clicking on their image, copying their image address and pasting it in a new/separate window/opening it in a new window. Near the very end of the image address, you'll see their maturity.
