Okay, so at the scale shop I bought a genetic mutator, hoping to use it on one of my captured pets. I went to my inventory to use it like a mushroom, but the "use item" button was still black when I clicked on the genetic mutator. I'm pretty sure I did it wrong. Does anyone know how to correctly do this? Thanks if you can help!!!

To use a mutator, you go into the pets profile, click on genetic philter.
