if I breed a high stat pet with a low stat one, can the new baby be born with lower base stats due to having a larent with low stats?

Let's just do an example.
If I breed two Faelora together: Faelora A has 600 health and Faelora B has 200 health. Their baby can hatch with health anywhere in between 200-600. So you could get unlucky and it might be 257, or you could get pretty lucky and it could be 569!

ashh >_< I should be worrying about having pets with the mutations I want befote worrying about their stats then heh, too bad.... thank u!
