Can someone explain to me how the theme pets work? Why do some people see certain pets and some never do? I don't understand it. Shouldn't everyone on the site be able to see them all at some point? Last fest, I never once laid eyes on a SW Aeri. Yet other people snagged them left and right. Same this go round. I haven't seen some of these pets and I know others haven't either, but others are getting more than one. Is it really just luck? I'll admit this is one of the most frustrating things about the fest. I'd really like to know what's going on and how it works.

It is just the roll of a dice, both for spawning a themed pet and for choosing which themed pet appears (as well as all of the other information... colors, traits, etc).

Basically, think of it this way. Take 10 people and give them a 6 sided die. Tell them that they want to roll as many 6's as they can. Give them 10 rolls.

Of the 10 people, some will probably roll zero 6's. Some might roll one or two. And then there will be someone who rolls like five 6's.

The same logic applies to this scenario.
