I sometimes find myself wishing there was a way to hide the region chat during festivals. Sometimes I'd like to really only look at my own game for one reason or another. I know I can try to ignore the box, but sometimes (especially during festivals), the chat box moves quickly and its really hard to ignore. If something moves on my screen, I look at it. I can't really block it out of my window, either, without blocking either the battle log or battle options on the bottom of the play window.

It would be kinda nice if I could collapse it so I don't have to see it, when I choose.

Don't get me wrong, I think the chat there is great! I definitely think it should stay, and I do not think it should be collapsed automatically. I'd just like a quick little option to hide it if I wanted to.

I've seen people suggest or wish that the chat could be hidden, or turned off.
Or people to go offline so they don't have to see anything that goes on in the chat aha.

Maybe it's just a matter of time. o: I think this is sound.

I'd love it as a collapsible box, and the header "Chat" stayed even if the box was collapsed, and my ideal would be to be collapsed automatically when you entered, with the header (and a graphic or text to indicate you click it to expand) enough to tell people chat's there if they want it.
