Good news~ I got two qitari essences from the trade broker today, so now I have a female and male maturing PLUS the already complete female Fluttershy I have so you'll get your baby twice as fast (once 17 long days pass for the generated qitari to be breedable). :D

Nice projects :) I assume you're using 4 essences for the pairs? If you're short on money, you can actually make it work with just 3. All you have to do is generate 2 parents, and keep a male and female who at least carry all of the traits as well as your goal offspring from the pair. Then generate a mate for that offspring, breed the result with one of the siblings you kept from the first pairing, and the resulting offspring, if the correct gender, will be able to breed with your original goal (their grandparent, I believe). You could theoretically breed a 6 vis using this method with a looooooooooot more steps, and it would take forever, but I find it a useful if somewhat time consuming method for getting a 2-3 vis breedable pair :)
