No, no, no a thousand times NO. Please, God, no. Please tell me that this will be optional, Krin. I was so happy when I finally got the option release adults automatically, instead of hassling with them constantly popping up, unwanted, in my barns and having to go through and release them, one by one by one! Are you saying that now we're going to have to hassle with adolescents popping up in our barns now?? Seriously???

I breed a huge number of pairs. If they don't show at least two genes/mutations I don't sell them and I don't WANT them! What I want is for them to be GONE. Don't do this to us, Krin. Please. So much of the relaxation will be gone from this game if those unwanted pets are popping up into barns all the time! Why would you do that? Please say it's optional. If anything give us a choice to make them auto release when they're adolescents, not automatically moved to the stables. >:| What a turn off if this happens. I don't want this and I know others that don't either. It should be optional, not a given! I don't want to deal with that mess again! I hated having to go through, every single day, releasing and releasing and releasing...UGH!...this is like a nightmare coming back to haunt me.

From my understanding of it, the auto-release option would still be in place. I think Krin just means that adolescents will no longer be able to remain in the hatchery. So the auto-release feature would be optional to release pets once they reach adolescents (instead of the current adulthood).

So my understanding of it is that pets that reach adolescents will be moved to the stables, unless the player chooses to auto-release them when they reach that age instead.

And I believe Krin is considering adding other optional auto-release functions as well. (which is why I believe the current auto-release un-named function would still be in place with the update). http://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=15415
