I have 34+ pets that I need to find new homes for (and soon, because I'm about to have a baby!), so I am going to do a raffle and giveaway. The pets all have between 2 and 5 traits, visible and carried. Most of them are marked for sale, if you look in my stables and hatchery. Samples:




So how does it work? There are two ways to get pets:

1) Free Door Prizes! I will be using a random generator to giveaway FREE pets to participants. Depending on how many people join in, it might be possible to give a freebie to everybody. I will give more details on this once I see how many people participate. In order to be entered for a door prize, you have to buy at least 1 raffle ticket.

2) Raffle tickets- purchase as many raffle tickets as you want for 1k gold each by announcing in this thread how many you'd like and then setting up a trade for the gold. I will use a random generator to select pets for all participants and I will begin with the pets with the most traits and work backwards, so the more tickets you buy, the more likely you are to win the 4 and 5-trait pets. You can feasibly win as many pets as you buy tickets for. So if you buy 5 tickets, you could win 5 pets (plus a door prize pet as well).

I am hoping to hold the raffle this Thursday, but we'll see how many people join in first. I may move the date back if needed.

Certainly, but you have to buy one raffle ticket to qualify for the door prize. That's just 1k. :) Then you could win up to two pets, or more if you buy more than one raffle ticket.

Ok so I have done gold for diamonds and vice versa. And of course gold for pets but how exactly do i put up the gold for this raffle?

I thought they had added a feature where you could put up gold and specify it to anther person, the way you can with pets, but I guess that's still in the works (or maybe I misunderstood altogether). What we'll do is list your door prize pet as the 10k you're spending (even though it's technically free) and that will create the proper exchange.

I may have to bump the raffle to Friday, though, as not a lot of people have responded yet. Just fyi.
