I'd like to suggest an addition to the festivals that is much like what we're supposed to get with the new scale shop: A Token Trader

The Token Trader would accept festival items (avatar item droped by the bosses and from the Holiday Shop), giving you festival tokens in return. This would make obtaining tokens easier for players, while at the same time creating a benchmark for the cost of these items and helping them retain their value. If you look on the broker, you'll see that a lot of the items from the named have dropped drastically in just a few days, as more and more are added to the market.

The Token Trader could even be the NPC who sells the traps in the festival area. This NPC could also occasionally have some of the festival items for sale at gold prices, which would serve to provide further sale benchmarks for the items.

I remember seeing a post like this in the festival overview thingy aha.

Anyways, this is a good idea to give baselines for prices.

In fact, I was talking to Savynn in region chat, and was thinking alongside gold baselines.
You can sell your drops to the system at about:

6k-10k per dropped held (blue), given that the held comes from a named that has no placeholder
10k-15k per dropped outfit/other accessories, given it drops from a named that has no placeholder
20k per dropped recolorable accessory

and even higher if the named DOES have a placeholder, thus increasing rarity.

Tokens are a GREAT use of this system as well, as it encloses the baselines in one festival rather than the gold system.
Plus, this time, the holiday shop is chock full of new items.

This would be great for grinders who just have too much of one thing and not enough of the other. c:

I totally agree, this would be awesome! Great idea.Though the tokens price at the festival shop would have to be higher since it is easier to get tokens.
