You click on the item you want to send, then click on the little envelope sign at the bottom of the inventory. Then you type in the username of the person you want to send it to.

If you're selling an item, you'll put in the cost of the item in the COD box.

If you're giving an item, or trading an item (in our case), you leave the COD box empty.

Then you click send. The item will go to the other person's trades. =)
