____ I've noticed that on this game and others that people want to "hide" their pets ,give them an invisible status if you will, for any reason like on other games I've seen they enable like a fogging feature that may either give you the profile but you cant make out any of its information and you cant interact with the animal, or slylesti.
____Only you yourself can so you can feed it and what not, but have it so others don't bug you about it because I have seen breeding rules on a persons profile or general rules in whichever game they are playing and people ignore them and ask any ways to sell/breed a creature anyways.
___ Some are just cagey with their things and other just want to avoid these requests it was a large problem I an old game I played but would it be possible to implement a full stable "fog" status or at least for individual pets? I especially ask because some one keeps messing with my pets even though I have told them to stop on multiple occasions. Thanks for reading this at least :)

The only options for doing anything to a pet that isn't yours is to feed it or breed it. If you breed it it's because a pet is set to breed, which is up to the owner. If you feed it does no harm to the pet and costs you money. I fail to see how either of these things is 'messing' with a pet. Or is there something I'm missing here?

I don't think it would be a good idea to remove the ability for a feeding another player's pets, because if a pet is set for public breeding but the user hasn't fed it in a while, it will not be breedable. The only way I could see this working would be to link it to the breeding option - if a pet is set for breeding (to everyone or individuals) then and only then can other users feed, but if the user doesn't want a pet fed then it cannot be set to breed to other users.

As to being able to hide a pet, I can maybe see this a being beneficial to some people, but it may also become problematic as they might forget it's been hidden and never unhide it, even if they no longer need/want to. I think it might be a better idea to have an option the puts something like a 'will not breed/sell' sticker on the pet that can be seen in the search and on the pets page, or even over the pets image, so it's real obvious. That way a pet would still be locatable, but clearly marked as unavailable for sale/breeding.

Additionally, while people may not read the instructions in owner profiles they do usually visit a pets page and apparently when the pet profiles are updated, there is supposed to be a comments area that owners can write stuff into. So, that will certainly go a long way towards reducing, if not eliminating, the problem.

welll id mean people can unhide them and use them as they would them selfs if they own the pet, that it wont be hidden to them and possibly have a marker saying it is hidden the main reason i ask is beacause someone keeps feeding some of my other pets that i am "experimenting with" but they keep feeding them and i have told them on multiple occaisons to top and they wont so i cant get subtansial data

If you're trying to do something specific (that is not against the site rules) with a pet that is being unnecessarily hindered by another user and you have politely requested multiple times that they stop, then I'm sure you can send a PM to Krinadon or Fiona, explaining the situation, to see if they will address the issue.

If you really think that someone feeding your pets is disturbing you, then telling

a) the person who is "disturbing" you, in this case the feeder, or
b) an admin who can handle such matters

...is perhaps the best idea. As this is more of an individual problem.

As for the suggestion, I've seen "hiding" pets on other sites. While I don't see a need for it, perhaps one day it can be a possible implementation.

Otherwise, simply tell whoever wants to breed with the pet or whatever that it's not available. That's it.
