How do i heal my pet when it has low health and i can't heal it during battle? please help!

In battle you can use elixirs if you have any. You can use them by clicking the red arrow at the lower right hand corner of the screen.
Out of battle you can:
1) Use a potion or elixir from your inventory page
2) Heal your pets in town at the plaza - costs gold (I don't think you've gotten to town yet though??)
3) Remove your pets from your party and let them heal on their own (takes time, only works if they are conscious)

thanks for telling me, and no i'm not at the town yet, and i didn't want to use a potion because it healed over my pets health max, but i did it any way. thanks!
