I'm not sure if this would be possible or not, but I have a suggestion...
In the advanced search, I think it would be extremely helpful to be able to select certain pets and give them a priority to show up higher in the search list. Rather than an entire list by the ID, name, or whatever, a player could select the ones that they actually NEED from the entire list, and compare them side by side. Or rather above and below, as the results show.
For example:
Searching through the pet list, pets A-O appear in order from their Pet ID.
Say a player wants to see all of the details of pets A, D, G, L, and O. In order to do that, they have to keep going back and forth between pages, find the pet that they're actually looking for, and take in all of the details while the other pets on the page stay in the mix to throw them off.
Page 1:
A
B
C
D
E
Page 2:
F
G
H
I
J
Page 3:
K
L
M
N
O
Now add in a new sorting feature that lets players prioritize certain pets. The new list would be as follows:
Page 1:
A
D
G
L
O
Page 2:
B
C
E
F
H
Page 3:
I
J
K
M
N
All of the needed information is on page one, rather than split between all three pages.
Now it may not look like that big of a deal with just three pages. But when you're working with say... oh, I don't know... 87 pages... *says the crazy theme-obsessed nut who actually has 87 pages of Griffi >_>* this type of addition would be a wonderful time-saver!
And since I'd be able to compare the ones I may need all together instead of scattered, I may finally be able to figure out which ones are just taking up space and get rid of them. Within three hours of sorting (rather than the week I've already spent with little-to-no progress...) I may just be able to cut my Griffi horde in half!
I also suggest this as an additional sorting method because all of the actual search features are wonderful as they are! And by allowing the remaining pets to simply follow AFTER the priority ones, it gives a player the chance to catch any missed pets once the search parameters are limited with desired traits and such.
Just a thought that may assist those who are foolishcrazydetermined crazy enough to tackle massive projects. Or multiple mass projects, like me. :D
For those of you who may think that this is an absolutely useless and ridiculous idea, I invite you to search for Griffi owned by ID 10307, and try sorting them all between 25 individual 6-vis goals for three different types of themes. Good luck!! XD

Omgosh, I think this would be an extremely useful addition to the search function. A comparison sorter...of sorts.
I know exactly what she's talking about. Working on several 6v projects myself - with a great many that are same species but different themes, well when it comes time to start weeding out the breeders it is a pretty lengthy process to try determine which pets from each project to keep or release using the search function just as it is.
For instance, perhaps you have a ton of 6 trait Neph offspring but you are looking for one male that has one or more specific traits that you need to utilize for your project. So you plug those trait/s in. And it brings up every single neph from every different theme or non theme that fits that trait/s selection. The next step is to go through manually clicking through every last page to find the ones from that specific theme.
Lovely, there are only 8 of them.
So now the decision falls to which of those 8 who have those specific traits will best fit the criteria for project.
Easy enough, right? Um no.
Trying to flip thorough dozens of pages - back and forth - back and forth - checking lineages, other traits, comparing, contrasting, etc. It's soooo freakin' time consuming and a bit confusing.
And honestly, that is a pretty basic example. If you are like Xavion and one of your projects is to make as few breeding pairs as possible for one specific theme that will include every single trait available for that theme . I can only imagine the horror of trying to sort out that cluster.
But if the search menu had a function where we could queue in like 5-10 ID's at once to be brought up on one or two pages then we could compare and contrast those specific pets right there all together. All we'd have to do is search that specific trait, find the correct themed ones, write down the ID's for each, and then plug them into the search and VOILA! All right there in a row and infinitely easier to determine which of that certain theme with those specific traits would be the ideal match/s or keeper/s of the lot. Cut and release the rest. Ta-da!
Or like Xavion suggested - add a check box next to each pet on the search pages so we can select the ones we want to compare and only have those brought up. A search within a search so to speak...
I don't know which search function would be easier to implement into the existing system - the check box on each pet or the multiple ID imput - but I think either would be a mass improvement.
Great suggestion, Xavion

I kinda get what you are saying, kinda don't so I agree a little bit, since I don't really understand what you are trying to say.
