So...I can't seem to find the rare mushroom. I'm about to move on to Umbra Forest. I completed the other quests in the Fungus Grove, then stuck around for quite awhile trying to find it, got bored and moved on, returning to search between each set of quests, and now I'm trying to find it before moving on to the forest...is there something I'm missing? I've spent hours searching for the stupid thing with no luck, and I'm starting to suspect there's more to the quest than the usual using the 'explore the area' button.

I don't think you're missing anything. Basically the same thing happens when you pick a regular mushroom. I pretty sure that it took me a while to find as well. Check you inventory. Maybe you already have it?

Double checked a number of times. Ah well, guess my luck is poor for this one - I guess I'll just have to keep poking at it sporadically. Thanks.
