I can't pick up pets from the pound. How do you do it? ( self-explanatory title)

There is no pound here on Sylestia! The only way to acquire pets is to capture them, breed them, buy them from another user, or generate them using essences. :)

There is a pound in the forums. You have to ping the user that is in charge of the pound, then she/he will set up the creature so you can pick it up.

I don't know how to ping either...

To ping others, just select the '@' sign in the bottom right corner of their post.
Alternatively, you also type in their username in the 'Ping Users' bar when typing up a post c;
