As much as I love the ryori, there are TWO traits that drive me nuts when it comes to multi-trait projects...

Shadow Wings and Galaxy.

Shadow Wings is a VERY hard trait to make look good, and as much as I adore this trait, it can be a major turn-off. The shadow formations have no sense of blending with the ryori's wisp, so unless the mutation color is practically identical to the wisp or the body, it clashes!

Examples from randomizing the generator:
One
Two
Three
Four
Five

When focused only on the one trait, this is actually very easy to avoid. But then there's Galaxy..! If you're doing a multi-trait project (or like the Spring Festival, themed pet submissions) then Galaxy and Shadow Wings become the bane of the other! Galaxy becomes practically INVISIBLE when the colors are too similar.

Random examples:
One
Two
Three
Four
Five

It's extremely hard to get those two mutations to work together! So below I've set three different examples to show just that.

Set Designs:

Shadow Wings set to match, Galaxy tries to vanish. Shadow Wings, Galaxy

Shadow Wings clash, Galaxy looks great. Shadow Wings, Galaxy

When Shadow Wings blends with the body, they both look decent, but this puts an extreme limitation on choosing a working color. Shadow Wings, Galaxy.

So now for the suggestion...

1: Set Shadow Wings with a secondary color that blends into the shadows. Like say, throwing in blended wavy lines of Color 3, or Color 2. (Like Jester's Crest or Wings of Illusion.) This would make the mutation much easier to work with in general since it's so large and has a big impact on the pet.

(and/or)

2: Set Galaxy with a secondary color for the 'shine' effect on the speckles. Like say, make it glow with the eye color. (Like Fox Fire) At the very least, the two mutations will stop clashing on a regular basis. And Galaxy would probably benefit from this as well, since it is a very small mutation that has a subtle impact on change.

Just a thought to possibly change the low, low popularity of Shadow Wings. The more versatile the trait, the more people are going to like it. When it's designed to clash unless you're matching colors to one of two options.... ehhhh, too much of a turn-off.
