When I shift click on a stack it just selects it and highlights the use button. I no longer get the pop-up asking how many.

Did you make sure you were holding down the shift button when you clicked the slot you wanna move the new stack to?

Try clearing your browser cache.

Clearing the cache doesn't help. I hope I'm not missing something again. I hold shift and click on the stack. It did work for me before, I'm not quite sure when it stopped working.

Edit: Also tried it in Chrome and it doesn't work.

What are you trying to unstack? Have you tried other items?
Also, make sure when you're doing it you hold down the shift key throughout the whole process.
1. Hold Shift
2. Select Item
3. Select Blank Slot (Prompts pop up)
4. Can let go of Shift.
