I think we should have something like a week long themed festival each month.
Not with every pet themed as with the large ones, but with games and a little bit to do. small festival areas, a bit of themed equip, like st Patricks fest.
How about chinese lantern week?
Space week?
Sugar fest?
day of the dead?

yay, thanks for making this for me Zarhail XD
oh, don't forget the Oktoberfest one and the Renn Faire one...we could have stalls with NPCs on the map and we can run around and play little games and catch pets at the same time.

That would kind of be a little overkill though in the long run don't you think?
If you look at it that we already have a Spring, Fall, Summer, and Winter festival, each running for about 3 weeks each, along with a week long Valentines Day, and St.Patricks Day festival, that's about 14 weeks a year of festival time. Works out to about a little less than one week a month is devoted towards some type of festival time.
Plus Krin needs to devote his time to to eventually expanding the world map, while also adding new features into the game as well. More festivals will take away from that time.

This was pretty much my thought.
Even with a 'small' festival, there's a good deal of coding and content to be coded, and that all takes away from the things that the game should have. The seasonals are really more than enough at this time, as well as the few super-holidays.

All of this is what I was thinking. Maybe after everything from this thread is completed, new festivals and other games could be implemented.... but honestly, I'd rather see all of that, plus new species and genes/mutations and revamps of older pets tackled before adding even more festival time.
