My mutators are not allowing me to use them. The option to use is staying gray, but the broker item button turns green. I had a tamed sylesti, and I was unable to mutate her. I traded her and a mutator to my friend, and they were able to mutate her and then send her back. I am now having the same problem with another pet, and thought it should be mentioned. Thank you!!

You're supposed to use it on the pet's profile page.
Click the Genetic Philter button on the pet's profile. It's green.
Then pick from the dropdown menu.
