Me again! :D
Can we get a 'For Sale: No' option?
It'd be really really helpful when looking through my own pets for my multitude of themed breeding projects. When I want to search through my own stock, I have to look through the ones I'm keeping for the project and the ones for sale all mixed in together randomly.
"For sale: NO" would allow me to cut out the ones up for grabs, and focus entirely on my project for easier searching. Especially when I'm trying to tally up my total of traits, see what I'm missing, see what I need to keep, see what I have excess of, and so on.

I don't get it. If they're for sale, they have a big 'S' on there that's easy to see and if they're for sale, I assume you aren't going to be using them for anything, so you skip over them when you're doing your search. If they aren't for sale, they don't have the 'S', making it easy for you to know those are the pets you plan to keep and breed for projects. So, having something that says, 'For sale:NO' makes no sense to me at all. If they don't have an 'S' on them you already know they're not for sale. Seems rather redundant. Maybe I'm just missing something here...
Maybe having a 'P' for 'project pet' might be helpful in weeding those out from regular stock... Then again, you could just keep project pets in a separate barn..

I think Xavion means for people that have massive projects (like his/her themed ryori, griffi, and Barn Owl nytekrie projects. Have you seen those stables? @.@ I am impressed) and want to see which pets have which traits quickly, the advanced search makes that easy. However, when breeding such huge projects, you end up with sometimes upwards of 100 very similar looking pets all for sale and mixed in with your breeding stock. So, instead of just being able to scan quickly down the list and look for the traits you want, you have to take that extra few seconds on each pet to check if they're for sale or not. Which, if you have a small 3-vis project probably isn't that big a deal, but when you're doing massive projects, that can be incredibly time-consuming.
Personally, I haven't run into this problem simply because I keep a separate spreadsheet of all project pets and their traits, carried or vis, off the site, but this too is incredibly time-consuming. It would definitely save time to be able to filter out the sales babies on the search, especially when searching your own pets.

Hehe, Mikazukichan has it exactly right. (And thanks for the compliment! <3)
I look through HUNDREDS of similar looking pets at once. Since I have about 8 or so griffi projects from generated ones, and then Arctic Storm Griffi (6V complete, working on traits), Reindeer Griffi (6V complete, working on traits), Star-Crossed Griffi, soon to add Thunderstorm Griffi, I have 350 griffi in total.
Of those, 84 are set for sale. It used to be in the hundreds for sale and over 500 griffi in total, but because it's so tedious to look through them all I've been releasing over 80% of what I would usually have for sale to other players..
So when looking through my griffi I have to first see the image to see if it's the right theme out, then tally in what traits it has, whether it's carried or visible, if it has a recessive trait, if it's for sale and if so, if I should release it, keep it up for sale, or if it turns out I need the traits it has, possibly throw it back into the breeding line.
If I consider keeping it, I also have to look through the other of it's kind to see JUST how rare those traits are in my stock. And see if I can just breed the trait in from other players.
Usually I end up 'retiring' some of my breeders and setting them for sale when their traits have overrun the breeding lines or when I need to start using the ones with better/more traits. Ends up being a batch of ten or so when that happens, so I get to check over 250 griffi at least 5 times to cover it all.
So in the end... being able to search them individually (those for sale, and more importantly those not for sale) would save me hours of time.

I don't have anywhere near as much stock as Xavion does, but I still find this to be a problem when trying to keep track of how many aeris I have and all their traits (whether carried or visible). This is a problem especially when I hatch a big batch of eggs (25+) and need to add the ones I'm keeping into lists without accidentally including the ones I'm selling [and then having to go back and go through them all again if it goes awry. :( ]
A 'sale: no' option should be a really simple and easy addition to the search that will significantly improve the convince of the tool.
