So I noticed something odd when searching for Reindeer Griffi.

When choosing the traits (gene one, gene two, ect) the search has an option to look for 'Visible' 'Carried' 'Either' or 'Nothing.'

Choosing 'Either' should look for both visible and carried traits, but when looking for a gene 2 the results came up with nothing.

I ran a few attempts and played around the generator to try and determine the reasoning for it, and I've come up with an answer.


Choosing 'either' on wheel pets (any wheel pet, not just the Reindeer) will ONLY pick up wheel pets with a hidden recessive (AB, BD,FG). Those with a solid trait (AA, BB, CC) do not show on the results when 'either' is chosen, even though they obviously have a visible trait.


Choosing 'Visible' does pick up on all results, though, so the bug isn't anything major and detrimental. Just something I happened to run into since I have a habit of looking for 'either' when looking for pet traits.

Can you give me an exact search you're using to get the results?

Also I just noticed another oddity. After the downtime a few of the wheel pets no longer actually display their recessive traits. Best example I can give is from a Lucky Scarab Ryori. I used him for breeding a couple of times since he has recessive Ethereal Horns, but now the trait no longer shows in the search.



And this little guy is an offspring of his that has the Ethereal Horns carried, as well as Ghostly Wraps which was another recessive. Just to point out that the traits are hidden there. Or though I hope it isn't the case, were there.

For that last problem (where you can't see the recessive anymore), I think people have been fixing it by testing the pets (since wheel pets and eggling auction pets are now testable) ^.^
