So we have no bank but users want one right?

What if through ingenuity and systems we already have, one can just make a makeshift one?

I don't really recommend it unless someone follows it to a T, but it's using the Exchange system.

You know how when you put up for gold in a gold exchange for diamonds, your gold gets put into the exchange system?

All you need to do to assure your gold doesn't get exchanged is to put it at a high enough price rate so others don't buy it.

Say I wanted to save 100k. I would put 100k into the exchange for the price of say... 1000 diamonds. (no one would buy that much gold for that many diamonds unless they want to lose a profit, seeing that 1000 diamonds is 2.5 mil in gold)

*This only works with really high, daunting prices. Which is why I don't recommend it to newbies who think a low amount like 25 diamonds is secure enough to save their gold in the exchange system.

The same idea also sprouts from putting junk that piles up in your inventory into the broker for whatever price you wish (low for someone to buy it, high if you want it to be unbuyable). If it doesn't sell, it goes into your trades, which do not take up inventory space until you accept the trade. (I've had 8 pages of trade history keep up with me for satchels btw)

I personally do not really need to resort to these methods because I never had to set aside anything to know how much to spend and not spend. But I just thought of it now lol. These methods are probably too tedious but they make do with what we have.

Thoughts?

I think a bank would be wanted for the interest, not so much the "put my money somewhere else so I won't spend it" (but I could be wrong).
I like the gold -> broker idea, but I don't personally see a use for the item stowing portion.
If a bank feature was implemented, I only hope the interest doesn't go up as your balance goes up.

The only bank I've seen with interest is Neopets, throughout my gaming experience (which is pretty miniscule aha). If anything, the only thing banks ever levied were tiny fees for their use (such as one upon deposit or withdrawal).

Other instances of a bank being suggested here (moreso than other games) seemed to be the "put my money somewhere else so I won't spend it" case, but I don't mind the interest either. Every little bit counts. c:
