I am not sure if this is the correct board to post this or not. I am sorry if I am wrong.

How often does the boss appear in the festival area? I read in the chat stream that they reappeared an hour after defeating, but that was 3 hours ago and still hasn't reappeared for me. I have Exited the zone. I have logged out of the game. I have cleared the cache on my computer. This happened to me during the Saint Patrick's Day event to me as well. The boss would randomly show back up. If that is how it is then all is well, but others were telling me that it is every hour. Is there a trick that I am missing?

By any chance, are you standing in the spot where it should respawn?

No cus I have exited the zone several times and restarted the journey to the boss repeatedly. I haven't hung out down in that area :(

Hmm, well I know that when you restart the zone (exiting and coming back in), the respawn time is reset as well, so you won't see the named spawn the moment you start back in.
But I don't know if you've stayed in the zone for an hour+ after you reset. x:

Well maybe that is the issue...but doesn't seem quite right. I battled the boss at 7:30 my time and it is now 11 and they haven't reappeared. I don't think I stayed in the zone for a full hour since the battle tho. That seems like a silly rule if that is the case. But maybe that is the problem :( I have friends who have left the game for hours and then came back, but perhaps they never hit the Exit Zone button which I have a habit of doing. *sigh*

When you Exit a zone for the newer system, it resets all spawn times. This is put in place to prevent users from simply killing a named, exiting, coming back and killing it again.

The alternative would be to log every single player's history across all zones. However, this would be a lot of data, especially down the road if we have a bigger player base and many, many more zones. So, without being able to do that, the only thing we can do is reset spawn timers when you exit a zone.


Edit: As more clarification, it "resets" upon exiting. So if the respawn is an hour. If you exit at 7:00pm and re-enter at 7:45pm, you'll only have to wait 15 more min for it to respawn.

But, say, you exit again at 7:55, then it'll reset it to another 60 minutes.

Thank you. I will have to break habit of hitting exit zone when I am done doing the egg hunt and so forth. I just assumed it had the same type of timer set like the egg hunt had going. Thank you for your help...That is the trick that I was missing. :)
