My brand new female Aeridini, Sofie, has just been given a Lesser Genetic Mutator. I captured her and everything. However, no new gene showed up... any reason why? Is it just that this species is so new?

http://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=13355 It was explained here. Basically they're missing the art due to some unforeseen issue and until it's fixed they simply won't display the art for slot one and two mutations.

Actually, it's because it hasn't been gene tested yet. It may have a carried gene or mutation, and if it does, it will need to be tested to find out.
