Hello! I'm new to the site and I must say I'm totally hooked already, I love the pets. I do have a question do you just randomly come across pets in the wild you can capture? I did find an egg yesterday, is there something special you need to capture the pets you come across?

Pets you run across randomly in the wild such as eggs or hatchlings can be adopted without the use of a net, however, there is still a chance of failure when you go to adopt an abandoned egg/hatchling. Other "wild pets" that you run into and battle must be caught with a net if you're interested in catching them.

You want to go into your inventory and "Use the Item". It will then appear in your wardrobe. To access your wardrobe, you want to go to "Account" and then "Wardrobe". From there, you'll be able to customize your avatar and equip and preview items. You can also remove items from your wardrobe by clicking the red minus button and they'll return to your inventory from there. I'll also send you some things so you can equip your avatar a bit more. :)

The wardrobe thing confused me at first too. I eventually worked out where my disappearing "used" items were going, lol.
Anyway, welcome to sylestia! It is addictive isn't it? :D Good luck with your pet hunting!

Welcome to the site. I joined a little before you did. I suggest chatting in the chatrooms. It's lots of fun and usually active but not overwhelming. There are also lots of people who can instantly answer any questions you have. A great way to meet new friends. I'm usually in there too. :)
