no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to get it to where I can show a picture of a pet, and when you click the picture, it sends you to the pets page. I've seen people do it though, is there a specific way to do it, or some sort of special code? Thanks in advance!

Hi Sayania. :) Here's a quote from Krinadon from the official nurturing thread that should answer your question:

This is the Official Nurture Thread.

You are free to post links to your Hatchlings and Egglings for others to Nurture.

Please refrain from making additional threads. They will just be deleted.

How to Properly Post a Pet's Link

Visit the pet's profile page and copy the URL, should look something like this: http://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=512213.

If you wish to post only the URL, then paste the URL here. Highlight the URL and click the "URL" Button.

The result should look like this in the editor:
[ url]http://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=512213[ /url]

The result should look like this when actually posted:
http://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=512213

If you wish to post an image of the pet and have it link to your profile, you will need two URLs. The first is the URL to the pet profile page. The second is of the pet itself. This is most easily done by right-click on the image of the pet on the profile page (preferably not the full sized image) and then click something that says, "Copy Image URL" or "Copy Image Location" or "Copy Destination URL", etc. Once you have both links, paste the image URL first. Then highlight it and click the "IMG=" Button. Paste the profile page URL into the pop up box and click "Confirm".

The result should look like this in the editor:
[ img=http://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=512213]http://www.sylestia.com/egglingbuilder_griffi.php?species=griffi&c1=799da7&c2=cd975f&c3=537ba9&md3c=dd2b1d&maturity=0&size=250[ /img]

The result should look like this when actually posted:
