hello! so, i joined way back in january of 2013 and was very active for quite some time when this was a much smaller site. now i am back and i have to say... i'm pretty overwhelmed! the layout is different, there are apparently 20 different breeds now... i'd like to start playing again now, although i must say i don't really know where to start as everything is really new to me even though i expected familiarity *v*

either way i am glad to be back although it may take some time to adjust!

yeah, after poking around a bit it does seem to me that things are basically similar, just spruced up a bit and the community is obviously much larger. at face value, things just looked very different! thank you for... re-welcoming me, i suppose!

Hey there! I remember you as well, welcome back! A lot of stuff has changed but is it just mostly cosmetic/upgraded old features. We're currently focusing on getting all the old pages revamped and improving the features before working on 'new' things. :)

hello again, and thank you! i think that mainly the new layout and pet species threw me off, as i figured if those things could change so quickly, then what else might have... but it's not so totally different after all!
that upcoming features list is really interesting and i'm really excited for a lot of the things on there!
i am slightly curious if, one day, the original species might be revamped. not any time soon of course, but it would be interesting to see the first breeds more in the style of the newer ones.

Yes the older species will either be getting redraws or get reshaded. Currently though that is low on our to do list as 100% of our artwork focus is being done on the April Monthlies and all the stuff that is upcoming for the Spring Festival in April. :)

I believe the zone past Umbra Forest, the Home screen, the Festival zones (when festivals come up) and the Forums are the only places that are revamped. Otherwise, most other places should be untouched. c:

Yeah, even being here for the change it was still an adjustment for me. But the new stuff is so much more streamlined that it didn't take long.
