Hmm, that may wind up frustrating users who wish to do things like giveaways when they leave the site. I guess they could still do the giveaway without saying anything, but it's pretty common practice on game/pet sites. Just something that might come up in the future.

I can think of another website off the top of my head that needs that rule :p Definitely makes sense, though, nothing causes drama quite like someone "quitting".

I agree with Marionette. It will be a bit annoying for people who want to hold giveaways or going away contest when they leave. Like she said, it is a common practice on other (most) game/pet sites. I'm not saying it's not a good rule, but maybe we could be allowed to at least say we are leaving ONLY in the giveaway/contest when/if we leave. Just a suggestion of course.
