How do I get to where I can go to places other than Esior's Fields? I can't go anywhere aside from there right now...

Shes at the very beginning Flute, look at her User page. :)
You need to follow along with Jinxie's quests, which will open up the other areas as you complete them.

The zone doesn't restrict people from entering regardless of level (I think, idk, it's a recommendation of lvl10 not an actual barrier), so if she wandered into the festival page and clicked zone on accident, that case might happen. xD
But I suppose the questline zone is a true case too.
