Now I remember my frustration in the game before. I don't know how anyone else plays, but I don't sell pets unless they actually SHOW at least 2 markings/mutations, unless they're meant to be single visibles. It seems the odds of getting pets that actually show two markings/mutations is very slim. I think the odds need to be tweaked just a tad in favor of DV's at least. I hatched over 30 pets this morning that were meant to be DV's and I got nothing, zilch, zero. Not a single one is sellable, and creating pairs and breeding is all I do here. Not everyone is into the rest of the game. Some of us just want to be breeders.
I'd like the admins to explain how the odds work as far as getting pets that show 2 markings. What are the odds, exactly? Imo, if I breed 50 pairs, at least 5 of them should be DV's. Anything else, it's just too frustrating to be a breeder here. Granted, this is my first batch of babies since I've been back so I'm going to give this some time. But honestly, if the trend of getting nothing sellable continues no matter how many breeding pairs I create, I probably won't be around for long, sad to say. I mean, for what? If I have nothing to sell, and continue to get nothing to sell, week after week after week, there's no point in spending my money, my time and my effort in creating pairs and breeding, right? If the odds are so against getting pets that are dv's that you only get them once in a blue moon, there's no point to being a breeder. I don't want to spend months, or years even, breeding each week only to face never ending disappointment when there are no DV's to be had.
Please, admins, can you clarify how your system works as far as the actual odds of pets being dv's? Thanks! |
