Hey all.... sorry for the newbieish question. But I can't advance any levels with 3 bosses because my 2 animals keep running out of health, and it won't let me use anything from my inventory during a battle. I went to talk to William the hunter, but the option to expand my party limit is grayed out. What should I do now?

if you get to the second town there's another plaza, there's someone there that can expand max party size to 3

nearly forgot to ping you, also if you need, level your pets up by going back to places you've already beat.

It looks like I will have to level up so I can win the hard way. I don't have any access to any other towns yet.

And to use elixirs during battle, click on that red arrow or hit the letter p. It should show you the items you can use during battle.
