I got a lesser genetic mutator playing Jinxee's Jamboree but I can't use it on any of my Sylestia! I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

First of all, you can only use mutators on captured pets. Can't use it on generated pets (i.e. your starter) or pets that were bred (that have a mother and father).
Also, not sure if this is the problem, but you have to go to that certain pet's profile, select the Use Philter button, and pick the mutator from there.

For Mutators, you can only use them on pets that have been caught and I do believe they have to be tested first as well. You only have one pet in your Stables that is captured, and she needs to be tested first.
