Ok so I need to know how to add more Sylesties to my party because im fighting Cereth and his bandits and I cant get past them! I cant even defeat Cereth alone without both my Sylesties going unconscious! please give me some tips if you would be so kind...

Supposedly, you have to go to the plaza and see if the person who raises slots there can raise your party slots.
However, I think that you can't get your next upgrade until you get into Umbra Forest (by defeating all areas of Viridian Meadows)...>//< Sorry, it's been awhile since I was at that point.
