Hello!

I apologize if this has been asked before or I am posing this in the wrong place (I am not exactly a newbie, but not exactly a veteran either) but I can't remember where I saw information on this subject. I have begun a breeding project with Puffadores and with them being so expensive to create, I'm looking to lessen the financial blow in whatever ways I can. :P

Now, I am wondering what the rules about in-breeding are. I'm assuming you can't breed Parent to Child but what about Grandparent to Grandchild and so on and so forth? Is Cousin x Cousin okay or Sibling x Sibling okay?

Sorry if my question is a little awkward, it is just I feel awkward myself asking this question. xD It feels so wrong, haha.

I know for sure that grandparent to grandchild works.

Sibling-sibling doesn't, parent- child doesn't, I have no clue about cousins though.......

as long as the two pets do not share the same relative: I.E. Same mom, same dad and as long as you are not trying to breed the pet to the parents, you should be fine.

So for example: I had 2 nixi's from the same dad. An orange one and a black one. They couldn't breed to their mothers or any sisters with the same mom/ dad.

I bred them both to different females. When their babies grew up, I bred the girls to their uncles. So if one girl had the orange dad I bred her to his black brother and vise versa.

So cousins should be fine.
