1- When breeding new pets, whats the biggest difference between helping the egg hatch or let it hatch itself.

2- The stats a pet can get vary along their rarity? Like a fully loaded pet with the highest maximum of mutations and stuff available versus a simple pet without much mutations, at max stat does the rare pet end up with better stats or breeding and getting rare pets it's only for looks?

I think's that's it for now, thanks a lot ^_^

#1: Helping an egg hatch will give it 5 additional points to a random stat, where as letting it hatch will let it get an additional 100 health.

#2: For the rarity, the color of the stars/name determine how many different mutations/genes a sylesti could have, where as the number of stars (depicting it's difficulty) will determine it's stats, if you catch it.

For the color of the stars: White is common (no genes/mutations), green is uncommon (1 visible trait or a carried trait), Blue is rare (1 visible or 2 carried), Purple is epic (2 vis. or 3 carried), Orange is legendary (2-3 vis or 3-4 carries).

For the number of the stars: 1 star is a weak(low stats and health, with a max of 60 mana), 2 star is a standard (a little more health and stats, and 80 max mana), 3 star is a Superior (Same stat scale as your starting pet, with a max of 100 mana), 4 star is an elite(Fairly nice stats and health, same as a Mythically generated sylesti, and has a max mana of 120), I don't remember what a 5 star is but hopefully one day we will be allowed to catch 5 star sylesti, and a 6 star is a boss (Rediculous stats and health, anywhere from 160-200 max mana, and odds are, you'll never be allowed to catch a sylesty that is a boss... for obvious reasons).
Equipment for your sylesti can also increase the health, stats, and max mana of your sylesty, as well as increasing things like resistances, critical hit chance, and avoidance chance.

But unfortunately, on the subject of stats and breeding, you can not invest proficiency points and level up points on parents, and have those stats carry to the offspring. The only stats that will, are the stats that the sylesti would have at level 0 with no equipment.

But, if i make for example a pet by breeding on my own that has like 3-4 visible traits,,, when i level it to 60, will it have the same stats of a pet with no visible or carried traits?

i ask because i want to have the strongest pet possible, but there are i few that i already love their looks, but i dont want to waste time leveling them since they have little visible traits

Visible traits and the stats of a pet are 2 different categories. You could have one that looks as plain as it can get, and it could be 5 times stronger than a sylesti that has a visible trait in every slot. And vise versa. It all depends on how dedicated one is on trying to achieve that goal. For instance, I don't much care for the looks of my lupora, but they have around 80's and 90's for stats, at level 0... given it's taken nearly a year to pull off. >.<

You have to breed pets with higher stats to have offspring with higher birth stats or level up the pet through battles/missions. There are also philters that you can use to increase a stat when you hatch an egg.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner... Had some [VIOLENT!!! *,..,*] busyness to attend to, on PlanetSide 2...

The level of the parents plays no role in the stats of the offspring. Its just one of those things, where over time, the stats slowly increase from generation to generation, through nurturing, and philters/hatching. It almost makes me feel like coming down with bipolar, every time I try to figure out the lineage of my lupora. @.@

so the higher the generation the most stat they gets,,, its safe to say then that im better of keeping always the highest generations possible doesnt it? ^_^

that's good to know then, now i'll just have to catch up with the main quest then keep breeding all the way, thank you

It is good to keep the most current generations, but also remember to keep some of the previous generations, just in case you mess something up... I've done that a lot. : \
