I see really often people being "unable" to release pets because of spaces at start or end of their name.
I don't know if it would be hard :
But maybe thinking of coding the naming so if there's a space at the end or the start of the name, removing it?
I think it could help out really much, because it could happen often in the future.
Like someone making a "long name", then erase, but forget the space at the end, then want to release and can't, don't understand if it never happened or never saw a Thread with the same problem in the Bug Forums.
Well I guess it's up to you Krin to know if this would be possible~ :3
It might not get on top of the "things-to-do" list, but could be something nice to have eventually~ ^-^
And if it's already on your list, sorry, didn't took the time to re-read~ >x<" (Bad me)

Nooooooooooo!! There's a character limit on pet names, they cant be less than like 3 characters. I need the spaces to allow me to name them properly form my project. (Though I'm sure I'll be singing a different tune when it comes time to release them >.<)

I'm sure you'll find a way if that even get implemented~ :3
And I rarely see names shorter than 3 characters~ XP

I was thinking this would apply to spaces at the end or beginning of the name, not in between (i.e. [ Sri Lanka] or [Sri Lanka ] would be edited to be [Sri Lanka], but still keep the space between.)

This is very easily doable. I just haven't gotten around to it...
In fact, I'll just fix it right now lol.

Wait... Does that mean that the pets that I have now only have 2 characters? I have a projects that has Marbled (marked by an M), Kitsune (marked by a K), Ethereal armor (A), and Ethereal headdress (H).
Some of my pets only have mk or ah, so I would go " ah" or "mk " if they were missing the other set of genes.

There's a php function called trim, it removes white space at the beginning or end of a string. So " Pet" becomes "Pet". Or "Pet " becomes "Pet".
Other than that, nothing will change.
