I was on a bit of a hiatus for about six months or so and I missed on at least the Christmas and Halloween events, so I'm missing a lot of items from my wardrobe. I'm just wondering if the holiday items are available every year during their corresponding holidays or if they are only available once and that's it. Like, would it be waste of my money to try and buy all of the items I'm missing when I could get them myself by only waiting for the right holiday to come along?

I'm wondering about this, because it would seem that the Christmas items from 2012 (like the snowflake wings and peppermint staffs) could be gotten during the last years Christmas event.

To be honest, from a player standpoint, I guess we'll only be able to tell when each event comes around now. xD; Because these will be the first anniversaries of all the events that ever happened.
I would look forward to how the recent Week of Love will be (starts tomorrow), since it had a few wardrobe items last year.

I'd hope that they'd come back though.
