so I've been talking to this girl who owns a mini business online for about three weeks, because I had two valentines day cards I wanted to buy from her. I knew of the price per card then (8 us dollars per card) but I had never checked into shipping. and well I've been really excited lately and today I loaded up my pre-paid visa card to go buy them, but when I went to put the order thru I found out that it's 13 us dollars (and I think that's per card too)
the thing is, she lives in new York, and I'm in Ohio, theres no way that shipping could be that much for two light-weight valentine cards.
I'm just kinda upset because after shipping and everything it would be about 42 us dollars (sorry if my math isn't correct) and that's way too much for two cards that she makes with a paint program and prints out.



does anyone know more about shipping rates? I'm just totally confused about the price right now.

Envelope and stamp costs like... $2.. And, if they are the same size, the cards could have been sent together. :p She is probably also charging for like ink of something... Printer ink costs more than a printer does. lol
