I ask this specifically because I'm new and I've been doing the limited events when they pop up. At first I didn't realize the spawns were shared between users, and now I have to ask - should I be leaving enemies for others to kill, or is it okay to just go through them if I want?

And on that note, is there any other site etiquette any newbies need to know about? Thanks!

Do you mean the such and such is being invaded events? Don't worry, most people are just happy when they stop blocking the towns for missions. Kill away! Lol

As for etiquette, people here are pretty laid back. Keep caps to a minimum in chat. Don't beg. Don't be a jerk. Basic stuff.

Friend request are usually best kept for people you have actually interacted with, but they are a bit different here in that they only go one way. Someone will only be on my friends list if I send them an invite regardless of if they have sent me one. Which is why I don't personally care if I get random ones, but some people do so it's best not to do random ones.

That's another way of looking at it I hadn't considered! Thank you! It's kinda funny, too, because my biggest reason for wanting them gone is that the flashing is distracting (and I do admit, I enjoy having completed them).

if by shared events you mean the ones that pop up in places like esior's haven, and the sanctuary of saerielle, Murder them all, have at it. The sooner everything is killed the sooner people can access the towns again, and better the rewards go to a newer person who might be able to use them than one of us oldies who was just trying to access the barracks and has no use for the prizes.

Caps are kept to minimum in the region chat for the sake of any people who have readers that shout allcaps words.
Begging is frowned upon and frankly, so long as a newbie's participating us older players are typically happy to help them with plenty of things
